Puerto Rico is facing a heartbreaking crisis. Today, an estimated 650,000 stray dogs (“Satos”) roam the streets, beaches, and abandoned fields of the island. Every day, we see the suffering:
This endless cycle won’t stop on its own. That’s why we focus on TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return). By sterilizing dogs—especially females—we can prevent thousands of unwanted puppies from ever being born into these conditions. One female dog and her offspring can produce 6.7 million puppies in just 7 years. Every single spay/neuter surgery makes a massive difference.
In November 2025, Save The Satos will return to Puerto Rico for our next rescue and TNR mission. Our goals:
But we cannot do this without your help.
Here’s how your donation helps:
We have just one month to raise the funds we need. Together, we can stop the suffering at its source, save lives, and give these forgotten dogs the future they deserve.
🙏 Please donate today, share this campaign, and be part of the mission to save Puerto Rico’s dogs.
